Here are a few Beatles news stories taken from a few different sources.

From our buddy Steve Marinucci, the Beatles Examiner, we have a few articles from today.

Cheap Trick will be doing a Sgt. Pepper tribute show, complete with full orchestra, in Vegas.

Tickets for Paul McCartney’s Citi Field concert will go on pre-sale this Friday.

Steve also posted the commercial for the concert.

We also saw a bigger look at the packages for the mono and stereo Beatles remasters.

Also be sure to check out his Beatles news briefs which has various other information.

What Goes On turned me onto these news stories today.

Olivia Harrison tells us George would have considered a Beatles reunion. I’m surprised because he seemed more anti-reunion than John was, which is saying alot. However Olivia knew him better than I did.

Remember the earlier post talking about Yoko’s lifetime achievement nomination? Well she won!

Hamburg, where the Beatles went through their rock star training, is opening a Beatles museum.

Beatlemania will be performing at the Milton Library Benefit this Saturday.

The Secret Policeman’s Film Festival is coming to Hollywood.

Yoko put this link on her Facebook. Apparently Mojo has nominated her for a Lifetime Achievement award. The speculation on the website and posted audio program is that the world is finally accepting her.

I don’t personally think it’s that simple. Some will accept Yoko and others never will.
