New ‘Isn’t It a Pity’ demo is stark, gorgeous, but $12.99 is a lot to pay

Beatle pic of the day

Harrison

Because “Let It Roll” comes out today, it looks like everyday will be Harrison-centric. This is him during the “All Things Must Pass” era. Look at how long his hair is! Compare it to how it was in the Fab days and it brings the complaints about the “long hair” into perspective.

Napster as well

Napster also has George Harrison’s album up, but only the 30 second previews. I have the 15 bucks a month unlimited plan, but it doesn’t let you get full songs if they have 30 second previews (which maybe about 5 percent of their content is). It’s a great deal but lots of George’s stuff on there isn’t available. Wal-Mart also.

I am glad to see my old theme song “Any Road” is on the compiliation. Guess I’ll just have to get it the old school way.

Wal-Mart fails

New George Harrison compilation is in stores today. Just don’t expect to find it at Wal-Mart. Lame. I hope they don’t make this same mistake for the remasters.
