Here are a few Beatles news stories taken from a few different sources.

From our buddy Steve Marinucci, the Beatles Examiner, we have the following,

A chat with Laurence Juber, formerly of Wings.

A new and odd Beatle trend of Twitter (be warned)

A Beatles news brief on various things including the upcoming George Harrison compilation.

We also have the following from What Goes On,

Mark Ronson talks about joining Sean Lennon’s new band “Ghost Of A Saber Toothed Tiger”.

The Prince’s Trust performances by McCartney, Harrison, Starr and more now on iTunes to benefit the charity.

Tony Bramwell, former member of Beatles inner circle and author of a Beatle book, is searching for an old guitar of George Harrison’s. (Original story by What Goes On).

Julian and Cynthia Lennon open a new John Lennon exhibit in Liverpool.

New Beatle documentary DVD being released.

New book “McCartney and Me” about a youth who met McCartney in the 60’s.

And most controversial of all, Elijah Wald talks about how the Beatles destroyed Rock n Roll.

Thank you Beatles Examiner and What Goes On for keeping us Beatlefans up to date!

Great book

I was walking in Waldenbooks this week and saw this. A great Lennon book which I’ve flipped through before called “John Lennon: The New York Years” by Bob Gruen. Bob took some great and iconic Lennon pictures during the New York years.

It’s on clearence at Waldenbooks for about 7 bucks. I would have bought it if I had more money to spare (yes I’m that broke).

If you have a Waldenbooks near you check for it.
